Coastliner summer timetable

10-05-2010

The Coastliner summer timetable started on Saturday 29th May.

Similar in many ways to that run in previous years, a few changes have been made to ensure we can carry everyone at busy times and that buses run reliably during the busier summer period.

Whitby
To enable a more timely departure, buses now depart from stand 3 at Whitby Bus Station.

Scarborough
Following the recent work at Scarborough Rail Station, the location of our stop for buses towards Malton, York and Leeds is similar, but is now referred to as Stop T.

Goathland
Following completion of highways work the route in Goathland has been revised to avoid use of the narrow lanes, with buses now running through the village and turning at a new mini roundabout near the Mallyan Spout Hotel, with the nearby bus stop now back in use.

Printed Timetable
We've changed the format of the printed timetable for summer 2010, and we've produced one booklet for all Coastliner services, following comments and suggestions from customers and staff.

We'd like to know what you think of the new booklet, so please do let us know by using a Customer Comment Card available on buses, or by e-mail at enquire@coastliner.co.uk

The timetable is available from all our usual outlets.

A new look...
Customers may have noticed a new look for some of our double-deck buses, which have been treated to a new, brighter, livery over ther winter, in a similar style to our single-deck buses that run between York, Tadcaster and Leeds. We'd like to know your views of the new look, so please do get in touch.
