Here's how we're running over Christmas and New Year


Christmas isn't just about turkey and mince pies. Well, OK, so a few mince pies will be consumed. But there's lots of other amazing things going on across Yorkshire - and there's no better way of getting there than by bus. 

Here's a handy summary of how our buses are running over Christmas and New Year.

Monday 24 December Christmas Eve

Tuesday 25 December Christmas Day
No service

Wednesday 26 December Boxing Day
Our amazing Boxing Day buses are back for another year!

1915 Leeds to Malton
1555 Scarborough to Leeds
1655 from Scarborough will finish at Woodlands, Garnet Lane
1745 from Whitby will finish at Malton
1810, 1910 and 2015 from Scarborough will finish at Malton

Evening buses won't be running.

All of our other routes will run as normal.

Boxing Day buses

ZAP on Boxing Day! Ditch the turkey butties and hit the sales with us! Here's a summary of how we'll be running.

Cityzap every hour between York and Leeds
First bus leaves York at 0945, last bus 1645
First bus leaves Leeds at 1045, last bus 1745

For Boxing Day only, Cityzap will serve the popular Designer Outlet at York so you can hit the sales first. 

We will pick up and drop off at Designer Outlet on our way into York from Leeds (get on and off at the same stop), running as a continual route serving our usual stops in York city centre including Clifford Street and Rail Station, and along Tadcaster Road towards Leeds.
