No train? No problem. We'll get you there during the rail strikes

Two more days of strikes are taking place across the Northern Rail network on Monday 26 and Thursday 29 March.

This time, we're going even further to help rail passengers during the strikes. Customers with a valid rail ticket to travel between Leeds and Manchester on the day of the strikes can ZAP for free on strike days. Simply jump on board and show the driver your ticket and take a seat (that's a comfy leather seat, by the way!).

Northern Rail services will not start until after 7am on Monday, and most trains will stop running before 7pm.

With trains expected to be so busy, now is the perfect time to try Cityzap to get you there. Buses run every hour, every day day between Leeds and Manchester, with fast buses on Cityzap zapping non-stop along the motorway - just like you would in your car.

A day return between Leeds and Manchester on Cityzap costs just £9.50, and you'll find free WiFi, at-seat USB chargers and more on board. That's cheaper than parking, and with added comfort and productivity.
