Fun things to do

Still looking for things to do over the holidays? Don't worry - we've got you covered.

Ice Trail, York
9 and 10 December

For one weekend only, the Ice Trail sprinkles some frosty magic around the city of York. Wrap up warm, get your woollies on and join in the festivities on 9 and 10 December. Follow the trail to find 30 crystal-clear ice statues sprinkled around the city centre, and stuff yourself with festive food from the street stalls which spring up all around.

Get your woollies on, and head into York on Coastliner and Cityzap.

Saint Nicholas Fair, York
16 November – 22 December

The streets of York are lined with wooden chalets for the amazing Saint Nicholas Fair, taking place from 16 November right through to 22 December. Soak up the atmosphere, pick up some amazing unique gifts, and gorge yourself silly on local cheeses and roasted chestnuts.

Enjoy a mulled wine (or three!), and let us do the driving.

Coastliner and Cityzap will take you right into the heart of the city, with late night buses at the weekends to get you home safely.

Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve

Most of our buses will run to a Sunday timetable on Christmas Eve, with the last buses running around tea time. Here's all of the details.
