Senior Citizens & Disabled Persons Concessions
The English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) allows the holder of any ENCTS permit to travel free of charge off-peak on Coastliner buses.
For older people, if you were born after 5 April 1950, the age you become eligible is tied to changes in the State Pension age. For more details on eligibility, please visit the Directgov website.
In North Yorkshire, permits are valid for journeys starting after 9.00 on Mondays to Fridays, but may be used at any time on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
In West Yorkshire, permits are valid for journeys starting after 09.30 and any time on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Obtaining a Permit
Permits are issued free of charge and may be obtained through your Borough Council, District Council or West Yorkshire PTE (Metro).
